Reality, much like beauty, is in the eye of the beholder. Seen through art, reality not only becomes different but also reflects more deeply, and often disturbingly, the truth. The art of greek artist Stamatis Papadimos, intense and full of power and symbolism, visually translates reality with clean strong lines, in either stark blacks and whites or vibrant colors, resulting in beautiful, complex, thought-provoking images with clear and strong messages behind them.
